The wooden pallets, painted in the three primary colors and black, are reconfigured as frames with two types of canvas stretched across them, transforming the material into layered abstractions that recall the body, particularly the functions of the female form and its sensations. Complementing these works, a collection of 21 ceramics draws inspiration from Puerto Rican flora, suspended in space rather than placed on pedestals to reimagine traditional display. These tropical forms symbolize femininity, while their clustered arrangements evoke intimacy and the fluid interplay of figures and fabric. These works were displayed at 80 Washington Square East, located in Gallery Three.
